2 Exemptions!!!
So, this year we are actually eligible for TWO exemptions. Therefore, I get to exempt AP Chemistry and AP Spanish 4! I am super excited that I don't have to worry as much about my finals this year. This opportunity allows me to just kind of flow into summer without the giant wall of finals. :D

Fennec Fox
This adorable is known as the fennec fox, or desert fox. It is a unique pet, but still kept as a pet by willing owners. It is supposedly quite similar to a dog, but very fast, and has a natural affinity for digging. My favorite animal is the fox, and I absolutely love the fact that this is a plausible pet. I will get one!!

Rupp Arena!
Tomorrow the boys are playing at Rupp!!!!! I am definitely excited to go there and especially to be able to play there (in the pep band). Now I can brag about playing pep band at Rupp. haha It should be exciting watching the game, and it will also hopefully be entertaining on the bus, as we have to spend almost eight hours riding one. Oy. Anyway, I believe it should be a fun trip and a unique experience. I hope we win so I could return on Friday!

Winter Drumline
This weekend is our first competition! We're only performing our first movement, but I think it's pretty cool, and am excited about performing it this weekend!

Bunny Ring!
Yesterday I recieved a package containing rings that I ordered from ebay. The one I purchased for myself is a bunny rabbit, and it is ADORABLE. I love it; I'm so excited about it. haha The others were a puppy dog and an owl, which were also cool, but this one is miiine. It's so cute! ^_^
Uniforms!
Yesterday at indoor drumline practice, we got our uniforms for our show, Upside Downside. They're really cool, the tops are orange, red, and black, and have a shiny arrow pointing upward on the right side. I'm just excited about them and we got to wear them at practice yesterday, which was fun. haha

Striped Sweater!
I'm wearing a striped sweater today, which reminds me of the episode of Spongebob where he's barely in a Krusty Krab commercial and believes he's suddenly famous. He sings a song about wearing striped sweaters, which now always comes to mind and is just funny. haha

Six-Word Memoirs
So our ning discussion today is about six-word memoirs, which I'm sure all of you are familiar with by now. I think they're exciting. It's fun to think of different phrases that work and it almost inspires me to write a book of them myself!
ex) Hakuna matata, what a wonderful phrase.
When nothing goes right, go left.
Pessimists are just optimists with experience.
I just want to be loved.
Will work hard for no homework.
Music is escape, reading is adventure.
Don't worry about me, I'm fine.
Mustaches: funny, not to take seriously.
Going that way? Fine by me.

Straight hair!
I have recently just kept my hair curly, as it is naturally. Straightening takes too much time and usually looks bad anyway. However, I went to the hair salon for a cut and my hairdresser decided to straighten it. So for one day I have straight hair! It's pretty fun actually, I can pretty much do what I want with it, as far as putting it up or half-way up or messing with accessories and stuff. I am enjoying my day with straight hair. :)

Indoor Percussion
Indoor percussion is actually kind of like marching band, only...it's just the percussion section. Big surprise. ;P I play the xylophone and crotales, which is pretty cool actually. Luckily, I don't even have to worry with learning drill for this program since I am a part of the front ensemble, which I guess I find even more exciting at this point in time. I visited one competition last year and it was fun and exciting without me even being a part of the actual ensemble. But now this year, I get to experience it all! I'm really excited for competitions and the random jokes and friends that will accompany the experience.
Three-Day Weekend!
This upcoming Monday, or "Moon-day" haha, is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, so we don't have school! This provides me with extra time to work on homework and projects, and hopefully relax! I like relaxing; it's nice. Sooo I believe it will be a fun weekend. Oh, and I have an indoor percussion camp on Saturday, which is pretty fun. Speaking of which, I believe I will make another post about that!

12:34
My favorite time(s) of the day is(are?) 12:34!! I just think that it's an exciting time. It's not 12:34 anymore since I had to write this, but oh well. It was fun while it lasted :)
Chemistry!
I performed a chemistry lab this morning that consisted of mixing acids and bases where a color indicator was involved. It was exciting as the mixture turned from bright pink to white and I always feel cool wearing my lab goggles and even an apron on most occasions. :) I feel like a scientist.

FaceTime!
So there's this app type program on iPod touches and iPhones with camera called FaceTime. It's really exciting because you can call and videochat with your friends! I think it's a ton of fun and allows you to feel closer and talk more understandingly with people. If you haven't tried it out, you definitely should!
1/11/11
Today is 1/11/11! It's not as exciting as 11/11/11, but I still think it's pretty nifty. and right now it happens to be 11:11! on 1/11/11!! Yay! haha Today is also a snow day, which means that we don't have school! I actually find this rather exciting today, considering I stayed up to the early hours of the morning to finish homework, so I was still able to sleep a proper amount :) And I get to spend the day doing homework! But at least I am able to catch up on work and get my application started for the Murray Commonwealth summer program. Which reminds me that I made it as one of the 13 applicants sent into the state for GSP! That was quite exciting, although my mother still doesn't believe I will be accepted. Oh well, what can we do about the pessimists? Luckily, my blog should be one of optimism and positive events! :D
Ps. I just noticed the site said that I published this at 9:11, which is completely incorrect. It is, in fact, 11:11. :P

Español!
Oh yeah! So in Spanish class today we learned that the word hiccup in Spanish is hipo, like ee-po. It sounds funny, and whenever you say that you have the hiccups, it sounds like you're saying that you have hippos. haha ^_^
Ryan Gentry
While Ryan is generally an entertaining guy, walking down the hallway with him is pretty fun. Those groups of people standing in the hallway talking? Yeah, he just bursts right through them, disturbing the whole situation. I find it quite amusing, as those groups can span across the entire hallway and block a lot of student traffic. However, even if they're standing on the side of the hallway, he just makes the extra effort to pass through.
Blogging!
So this blog thing is really super exciting to me. haha I believe it will be a lot of fun to just tell random people about stuff, especially about stuff that excites me! :D
